Yellow Cactus returns with Slow Exit, the second album from the band’s growing world of dusty memories, late night reflections and slow burning desert psychedelia. Expanding the atmosphere introduced in their debut release, Yellow Cactus leans further into intimate songwriting, spacious arrangements and emotionally restrained storytelling.
Slow Exit moves through empty apartments, silent highways, unresolved conversations and moments suspended between leaving and staying. Warm analog guitars drift through soft tape hiss while distant vocals and minimal percussion create a sound that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.
Drawing inspiration from psychedelic desert rock, ambient slowcore and melancholic 70s recordings, Yellow Cactus builds songs that breathe patiently, allowing silence and texture to carry as much meaning as the lyrics themselves.
This album was made for long drives after midnight, dimly lit rooms, fading neon and the quiet weight of memories that never completely disappear.
